Who is responsible

Salet Ltd (company number 16662600) is the data controller. Salet is registered with the Information Commissioner's Office. Contact saran@salet.uk about anything on this page.

What we hold

• Your name and email address, so you have an account and can receive your report.
• The reports you request and the results.
• Documents you upload for a Legal Pack Review.
• Whether you agreed to marketing email, which is a separate choice you make yourself.

Documents, and how long we keep them

Legal packs are confidential documents, often about someone else's property. We treat them that way.

• They are stored in a private bucket. Only your account and the operator can read them, enforced by the database rather than by our application code.
• They are deleted 90 days after your report completes. The report and its findings stay in your library; the source documents do not.
• You can delete a report and its documents yourself at any time, and that deletes the files, not just the record of them.
• We log filenames, file sizes and checksums. We never log the contents of a document.

Why we are allowed to hold it

We process your account details and your documents to perform the service you asked for. We keep lead records because we have a legitimate interest in following up an enquiry about property representation. Marketing email is sent only on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

Who else sees it

We use these providers, and no others, to run the service:

• Supabase, for the database, sign-in and document storage.
• Render, for hosting.
• Anthropic, whose Claude model reads the documents you upload for a Legal Pack Review.
• PropertyData, for the market data behind a Buyer Intelligence Report. No document you upload is ever sent to them.
• Resend, to email your report to you.
• Stripe, if and when reports are charged for. Stripe handles card details; we never see them.

We do not sell your data and we do not share it with anyone else.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email saran@salet.uk and we will act within one month. If you are unhappy with our response you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
